Klaus Wohnig – CEO of APK – is successfully leading the company since 2013.
Since January 2022 the Board is complemented in the sector of Finance by Susanne Küppers.
Together with over 150 employees, the Board, shapes the future of the company
within a dynamically developing circular economy.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

holds a degree in Business Administration and manages APK AG supported by a competent team with extensive expertise in their areas of responsibility. He brings to this task his comprehensive know-how and experience gained in managerial assignments in internationally operating companies in various sectors.
Moreover Klaus Wohnig is member of the board of the BDE (Federal Association of the German Disposal, Water and Raw Materials Management) and board member of the plastic recycling association at the BVSE (Federal Association Secondary Raw Materials & Disposal).

Susanne Küppers

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Susanne Küppers holds a degree in Business Administration and is member of the Board of APK AG. She contributes over 25 years of experience in the financial areas of mergers & acquisitions, post-merger integration, establishment, consolidation and expansion of corporations and start-ups as well as in the commercial management of major projects. Her previous professional experience has focused on the industry/process engineering and energy/power engineering market sectors as well as trade and telecommunications.

Hexal founders Dr. Andreas and Dr. Thomas Strüngmann also participant in APK AG through AT Newtec GmbH. AT Newtec invests in young, unlisted companies in German-speaking countries.
